New Youth Soccer Coach?

"Now What? Help!"

I was more than a little panicked when (Lord knows why) I suddenly volunteered to coach our new youth soccer team.
What have I gotten myself into?

You can do this - and have fun!!

Dear Fellow Coach:

Does this sound familiar? A bunch of parents standing around chatting during the first team meeting. Then someone asks the question that everyone has been avoiding, "So, who wants to be the coach?" Silence. Everyone looks at their feet.

Then you hear a voice say, "Sure, I'll do it." Hey wait, that's MY voice! What have I gotten myself into?!

"The soccer drills in your books were great for my team's age group. In other books that I have read, the drills and instructions were too confusing for my young players. The concepts in your book are easy to understand and the diagrams are simple to follow." - Greg G
